Learn or refresh your skills on collecting ABG samples interpreting the major Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) abnormalities, identifying compensation along with their causes and nursing management.
A completion certificate, 4 Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) hours, provides you the ability to confidently take ABG samples, lookout for and prevent complications of ABG sampling, interpret basic ABG abnormalities and identify their causes and nursing management.
This course is delivered through online, Instructor led live sessions. Providing candidates an opportunity to ask questions to the instructor and interact with other participants in the course. No assignments or projects. A Pre-Test and Post-Test is administered at the start and end of the course respectively. This method is highly effective for topics that are complex and provides individual attention to each candidate. Choose an appropriate time that suits you and learn from the comfort of your home.
Any nurse with a diploma in GNM or B.Sc Nursing, an experience in critical care or emergency is advised but not mandatory.
